Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 19, 2026

Bulk Image Extractor is a Chrome extension published by MAJinnov (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what user data the extension collects, how it is used and processed, where it is stored and for how long, and with whom it is shared.

1. Summary

  • The free version collects no personal data. Images, pages and screenshots are processed on your device and are never sent to us.
  • We collect personal data only if you buy or activate a Pro license: your email address, your name if you give it, your license key, a random device ID and your browser version.
  • We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising, and do not track your browsing.

2. Data collection

2.1 Data that stays on your device (never sent to us)

  • Page content: to find images, the extension reads the page you choose to scan, only when you open the extension or use one of its features on that page.
  • Screenshots and edits: captures, the screenshot editor and exports (PNG, JPG, WebP, PDF).
  • Save as PDF: uses Chrome’s built-in page printing (the “debugger” permission) only when you click Save as PDF.
  • Your settings, website rules, filters and download preferences.

2.2 Data we collect, only if you use Pro

  • Email address and name (optional): entered by you on the Stripe checkout page when you buy Pro.
  • Payment information: entered on Stripe’s page and processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number. Stripe gives us your customer ID, subscription ID and payment status.
  • License key: sent by the extension when you activate, verify or deactivate your license.
  • Device ID: a random identifier created by the extension. It is not linked to your identity or your hardware.
  • Browser user-agent string (browser and system version): sent once when you activate a license on a device.
  • Dates: when the license was created, when it expires, when each device was activated and last checked.
  • IP address and country: like any web server, our license server sees the IP address of each request. It is used only for rate limiting and to show checkout prices in your local currency. We do not store it.

2.3 Data we never collect

We do not collect the pages you visit, your browsing history, the images you view or download, your screenshots, page text, passwords, location, contacts or any other personal data.

3. Use and processing of data

We use the data listed in 2.2 only to:

  • create, deliver, activate and verify your Pro license, and enforce the limit of 3 devices per license;
  • process payments, renewals, cancellations, refunds and disputes;
  • send your license key and license-related emails, and answer your support requests;
  • show current Pro prices in the extension;
  • prevent fraud and abuse of the license system.

The extension checks your license with our server about once a day. Data on your device (section 2.1) is processed only by the extension in your browser to provide its features. We do not use any data for advertising, profiling, credit decisions or any purpose unrelated to the extension’s features, and humans do not read your data except to answer a support request you send or to meet a legal obligation.

4. Storage and retention

  • On your device: settings, rules, your license status, the device ID and temporary screenshots are stored in Chrome’s extension storage. If Chrome sync is on, Google syncs your settings between your own browsers under Google’s privacy policy; we cannot read them. Uninstalling the extension deletes this data.
  • On our servers: license records (email, name, license key, plan, status, dates, Stripe IDs) and device activations (device ID, user-agent, dates) are stored in a database hosted by Cloudflare. Payment records are stored by Stripe.
  • Retention: license records are kept while your license is active, then as long as required by accounting, tax and legal obligations (up to 7 years). A device activation is deleted when you deactivate that device. Checkout records (a short checkout code linked to your email and Stripe IDs) are kept for the same period as license records.
  • Security: all connections to our server use HTTPS (encrypted in transit). Access to the database is restricted to us. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

5. Sharing of data

We do not sell, rent or trade your data. We share it only with the service providers below, only as needed to run Pro, and they may process it outside your country, including in the United States:

We may also disclose data if required by law, or to a successor if the extension is sold or transferred, under the same protections as this policy. No other third party receives your data.

6. Your rights and choices

  • You can use the free version without giving any personal data.
  • You can deactivate a device at any time from the extension’s options page.
  • Depending on where you live (for example Quebec’s Law 25, Canada’s PIPEDA, the EU/UK GDPR or California law), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Write to [email protected]; we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

8. Children

The extension is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Significant changes will be announced in the extension’s release notes.
