This Privacy Policy applies to our application named Respiro, and its associated subdomains (collectively, our “Service”). A. Local Data Storage

Respiro is designed to be privacy-first. Most of the data generated by your use of the app is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This includes:

• Breathing History: Records of your completed sessions.
• Settings: Your preferences for themes, audio, and haptics.
• Custom Patterns: Any custom breathing patterns you create.
• Subscription Status: Information about your current subscription tier.

We do not have access to this locally stored data, and it is not transmitted to our servers.

B. Third-Party Services and Data Collection

While we do not collect personal data directly, we use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

• Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the free version of the app. AdMob may collect and use data (such as your device’s advertising ID, location, and usage data) to provide personalized ads.

C. Permissions

The app may request the following permissions:

• Audio: To play background music and sound effects. (Note: The app requests audio permissions as part of its audio playback capabilities, but does not record or transmit your voice).

3. Subscriptions and Payments

If you choose to purchase a Premium subscription, the transaction is handled by the Google Play Store (Android). We do not process or store your credit card information. We only receive a confirmation of your subscription status to unlock Premium features.

4. Children’s Privacy

Respiro does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Respiro mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

2. Medical Disclaimer

Respiro is not a medical device. The content and tools provided by the App, including breathing exercises and programs, are for informational and relaxation purposes only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

• Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new breathing practice, especially if you have a pre-existing medical condition (such as asthma, COPD, or heart conditions).
• If you experience dizziness, shortness of breath, or distress while using the App, stop immediately and consult a doctor.

3. Subscriptions

Respiro offers a “Premium” subscription that unlocks additional features and removes advertisements.

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed through your Google Play account.
• Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your account settings on the Google Play Store. We cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by the respective app store (Google) in accordance with their policies.

4. Intellectual Property
